DELIVERANCE: 'River Disturbance' To Be Reissued With Bonus Tracks
October 2, 2007The 1994 album from Christian metallers DELIVERANCE, "River Disturbance", will be re-released on November 27 via Retroactive Records. This "collectors' edition" was remastered and features all-new artwork from Caleb Olsen (X-SINNER, FINAL AXE, SEVENTH POWER, etc.). In addition, it contains four bonus tracks: "I Thought...", a previously unreleased track recorded during the original "River Disturbance" sessions; "On the Fritz", whcih originally appeared on the R.E.X. compilation called "I Predict A Clone" (a Steve Taylor tribute); the previously unreleased "Belltown" (Hyper Industrial Mix); and a 12-minute transparent look at the "River Disturbance" album, from its inception until the end, through the eyes (and from the mouth) of frontman Jimmy Brown (this track is simply called "About River Disturbance by Jimmy Brown"). According to the label, "this is melodic, dark, and absolutely brilliant progressive metal. Fans of HIM and SAVIOR MACHINE will rejoice for an enhanced version of the original masterpiece called 'River Disturbance'."
